The house that specializes in Aetherology. House Agneviere, led by Count Dechreois, is filled with researchers and hunters to explore the nature and properties of aether. By having a wide business connection with multiple business partners, funding is easy to get by for them to be fully sufficient in manufacturing their own tools and gears to fit each of their people's needs. Tattoos are their most common features.

●•.✦.✧.✦.✧════════════✦.✧.✦.✧.•●
Notable people:

Dechreois Agneviere
Dubbed as the "Crazy science elf man", he will go through any lengths to achieve results. After losing his family to an unfortunate experiment, Dech formed House Agneviere to further his studies with many other researchers who he hired or willingly joined his cause. The tattoo he acquired in his time in Sharlayan was the inspiration behind all of this.
.
O'relia Vaymes
One of the researchers who focuses on operating on dead or live bodies. If she knew how to fight, she would definitely aim right for your vital organs. Super funky and cool Highlander, only if you get to know her well. O'relia's awkward on the outside, please excuse her. Currently posted at Aster's workplace after hearing reports about an unusual activity there.
.
Afranche Char
Weaponsmith of the house. He met Dech while lurking around Ishgard. Upon finding out about Afra's profession, Dech always commissions him for weapons and tools for his house. Usually isn't seen at the same spot. Father figure towards Lwis when he was young. The relationship between the two of them has been going downhill ever since.
.
Nia D'estelles
A hired researcher who came from Sharlayan as an emissary. Self-proclaimed 'Lwis's bestie'. Why does she always look absolutely stunning? Well, it's all thanks to the house funds. Also tasked to hunt a black cat down for crimes. She's making sure everyone's havin' a GOOD time.

. ✧ ✧ ✧ .

Founded by Feis Istheis, this house focuses on providing butler/maid services to other houses or nobles. The house only consists of oprhans which he hopes to teach them skills and give them a job later on.

●•.✦.✧.✦.✧════════════✦.✧.✦.✧.•●
Notable people:

.
Feis Istheis
The 'papa'. Sold his business to form the house. Dedicates his life to helping orphans ever since he found out his wife could not bear offsprings. The first few years were rough, but he and his wife pulled through. (That's true love baby.)
.

Eden Khaljar
Aster's younger brother. Eden came to the house to work as a butler in order to support him and his brother. One of the best butlers in the house since he is sooo good in whatever that he does. On his days off, he spends his time chasing after Aster convincing him to join the house and get a stable job. Spoiler alert: It's not doing too well.
.
Arthur Lychnus
Stranded alone on the streets, he was taken in by Feis one day. Has an obsession with oranges. Arthur's involvement with the house was a short one since his reason was "It doesn't fit me at all."

A rustic cafe bar located in a small town somewhere deep in the North Shroud. Owned by a friendly lil' Hrothgar. Usually sells pasta, desserts, and drinks. A corner is usually reserved for a bunch of peeps who does their research there. Open to all kinds of people!

●•.✦.✧.✦.✧════════════✦.✧.✦.✧.•●
Notable people:

Dean Rolvasch
The friendly lil' Hrothgar! Despite being called little, he's actually pretty tall and scary. Marks all over his torso and stuff, but he greets his customers with a biiiig grin and a gooood growl. Never talks about himself. Dean wasn't very creative in terms of naming the cafe, but he prides himself in the interior decor.
.
Von Ethel
Hoping to undo the mistakes of his people, Von and Yura both formed a small group researching into dark aether and simulacra. Awful at making jokes, but his heart is in the right place. He is so goal-driven that he can't read the air if someone just wants to have fun or work.
.
Yura Ederste
The manager of Von's group. Hoping to find her sister that disappeared 8 years ago. She suspects it's because of the "dark aether hoo haa thing" that caused her disappearance. Loves baking, actually contributed part of the cafe's menu.
.

Deul Harvey
Outcasted by his parents, Deul took shelter in Dean's cafe until a middle-aged lady took him in. He still frequents the cafe every now and then to help out. Joined Von's group hoping he could find answers to his issues. Absent-minded, sometimes it's hard to take him seriously. Hyth's cousin.
.
Lis Istreve
One of the regular customers of the cafe. Weaver main. Also uses her tools as weapons too. Loves sewing up new clothes for the trio (Not forgetting Mr Hrothgar too!)

A small lab for an Elezen and his two troublemakers to stir shit up. Mainly focusing on machinery and magiteks. They do repair services too! (and hopefully, fix your blender.)

●•.✦.✧.✦.✧════════════✦.✧.✦.✧.•●
Notable people:

Luce Noirterel
Escaped from the Empire with the help of his parents, Luce worked his fingers to the bone to earn enough for a place to stay and eventually enroll in a school. Met Nao and Miho while studying there. He doesn't talk a lot- he's socially awkward. One time he made a speech in front of the entire school, his hands was visibly trembling.

Ren Naoharu
Troublemaker #1. Found himself in Luce's laboratory with no memories of the past. Decides to be his helper anyways. Loves his guns, loves his fat cat. He doesn't know his full name other than 'Nao'.
.
Kawa Iyozake
Nao's eldest sister. Different family names due to different families adopting them after their parent's death. Ran all the way to Eorzea to find her brother again. Worked for House Agneviere for 1 second before running off. Looks like a tired college student 24/7. She thinks Hrothgars are Gyukis.

Velric Cairnhenn
After countless persuasions by Luce, Velric finally gave in and joined the team. Left all alone after a short Garlean invasion caused him to lose his family. The Cairnhenns are known for their alchemy, and Velric sought to follow in their footsteps.
.
Miho Lutaire
Chased out from her tribe for 'being a witch', Miho wandered into Ishgard and managed to earn a spot to fight as a Dragoon Knight. After the events in Heavensward, she now carries her spear around to help the people in need. Separated from Nao and Luce after graduation, the friendship bracelet she has was the only thing left about them.

A guild that was formed by a group of friends, naming it after a flower that a dear companion loved. They first started out as a small party, going on adventures and helping people out, but words of their deeds and idealism spread fast like wildfire, and soon became well known in their region. Eventually, the guild grew into a decent size, filled with all sorts of people from different walks of life, wanting to serve the cause to protect more people as "friends". However... this is just an old tale now. The Knights of Magnolia no longer exist. It has almost been a decade since the incident.

●•.✦.✧.✦.✧════════════✦.✧.✦.✧.•●
Notable people:

Ilse Edelsburg
One of the three who founded the guild. Witnesses said that he stayed behind to save the rest of the members before their headquarters collapsed. He was known to be the leader's right hand, skilled with his spear and rapier, he could easily cut down anyone who tried to hurt them.

Jeriqel Yase
The leader of the guild. Jeriqel was a natural-born leader, or that was what they say about him. He was charismatic and could persuade anyone to help with any of his requests. He was accused of being involved in suspicious activities, but nobody was able to find any proof about it.

Vey Ederste
The other founder of the guild. Many women look up to her as a role model as a warrior on the frontlines. Vey excels in strength, and nothing gets in her way of things. She was praised for her strong will and went against stereotypes. She is reported to be one of the few missing people.

Seth Lucidus
The young Seth found himself at the doorsteps of the headquarters after the fall of his village. He couldn't recall how he found his way here since it was quite a distance. Somehow, Jeriqel eagerly let him in and was known to be the youngest to join the guild. Seth worked hard so he could also join others on expeditions and missions. Many agreed he had a lot of potential and was a fast learner at such a young age. Now at 25, he's become a manwhore working at a host club.

Ir Lenmis
One of the few known survivors. Ir was sick of reporters and journalists hunting him down for more information, so he decided to travel to a different continent and start anew as a simple blacksmith. There he found one of his colleagues, Ivela, while he was trying out a small band as a side hobby gig. That was when his motivation to find and reunite the rest of the Magnolia members surged.

Ida Nouvast
Ida joined the guild due to her admiration and respect for Vey, since everyone in her family wasn't happy that she wasn't 'using' her body for something 'better', and that she would rather pick up her katana and slice things up like a maniac. The guild definitely made her feel more welcomed and she used it as an opportunity to train more on her skills.

Name: Roel Inditicus aka the little meowmeow
Gender: Male
Age: 20 ( 15th Sun of the 5th Umbral Moon )
Race: Miqo'te (Keeper of the Moon)
Occupation: Sellsword
Appearance: Exactly 171cm. Amethyst eyes. Pale-skinned. Dark, short unkempt hair. Lean.

Tea, Napping, Night ffs X Coffee, Mornings

About: Moving out at the age of 18, Roel's only form of income was to become a sellsword. Tasks ranging from escorting, collecting mushrooms, or actually causing destruction. His lonely upbringing caused Roel to struggle in conveying his emotions. Ear and tail wags are his usual ways to express what he is feeling. Roel is a pretty clingy cat when it comes to interaction, hoping to fill the void from the lack of affection he never got from his childhood days. Even so, he's kind of... dense.

Known as the 'house cat', Roel is often seen napping indoors while the sun is out and disappears to explore during the night. Curious about almost everything, especially arcane magic. Has a knack for collecting (or stealing) objects he finds interesting. Uses spare funds to travel around the world... Or buy premium tea boxes. 90% of his wardrobe is full of coats sent by his parents. Speaking of his parents, despite not being close to them, he occasionally writes letters to them.

●•.✦.✧.✦.✧════════════✦.✧.✦.✧.•●

History
The sound of rain fills the silence in the hall. The caregiver gives their usual lecture on etiquette and manners. You have barely looked at your parents for a good 5 minutes before they leave for work. It was pretty boring, being homeschooled and all.

Roel was born a city cat. Despite all of that, he spent his childhood days alone. The only person he knew was another Miqo'te caregiver who has been with him for at least a decade. Maybe it's a good idea to move out without a single clue about the outside world. He was physically weak to wield a greatsword or something anyways, so he picked up arcanima. Roel kept training in order to keep up with the demands of being a sellsword. He wanted bigger rewards. He couldn't remember when he became greedy for more power just for the sake of it. Tomes, more tomes. Anything that he could find, any information that he can expand on his abilities.

Maybe it was because I was too naive to understand loss is just part of life.

Skip a couple of years later, Roel manages to earn a scholarship to Sharlayan to study more in-depth about arcane magic. He was only there to find one specific book in a hidden library. Roel had a million's worth of tomes in his room anyway, but this was the one that caught his attention, and he made sure he will get his hands on it.

Will I finally achieve my freedom?

One day, he blanked out. Finding himself in a place filled with the sweet aroma of freshly baked pastries and roasted coffee beans, the people of Cafe L'eau offered him a safe haven for him to drop by, help around and earn a couple of coins.

Appearance: 206cm. Steel blue eyes. Peachy skin. Uneven off-white hair with a braid on the right side. Tattoos on his left arm. Fit.

Working, Food ffs X The catboy with dabloons Rae Ackerman, Slacking off, Leaving his office

About: Your local Ishgardian rat. Some question if Lwis is really Dech's son. Don't let his mean, asshole aura exterior scare you, he's squishy as hell. His rule of thumb is to always repay back any small acts of kindness. His entire life revolves around work, he gets all fidgety if he's doing nothing. Doesn't know how to cook because he always receives food as gifts from his co-workers or admirers. Lwis is used to giving people nicknames instead of calling out their actual names to avoid being attached to anyone at all.

In the battlefield, Lwis is known to be one of the strongest knights in his unit. He prefers to work alone so that people won't get in his way and also get hurt in the process. Ruthless when it comes to murder, no souls spared. Some even think that's pretty heartless.

Sending hate mail to Rae is Lwis's favourite pasttime.
●•.✦.✧.✦.✧════════════✦.✧.✦.✧.•●

History
You've been spending half of your childhood days trying to survive in the harsh eternal winter of Ishgard. Everyone in the Brume is struggling to survive, is violence the only way for survival? With only a piece of eaten, moldy bread on one hand and a bruised fist on the other, a tall, dignified Elezen by the name of Dechreois Agneviere, reaches out to you. You're home at last.

Lwis always felt that he is forever indebted towards Dech. Training since young, he hoped to earn a high-ranked position as a knight to represent House Agneviere and help with the research. Afranche, a hired weaponsmith for the house, takes care of Lwis. On his first mission at age 16, Lwis was gifted his first weapon. A greatsword, specially crafted by Afra. Even after all the sweat and tears, Lwis had to experience at such a young age, he knew he shouldn't back down and disappoint Dech.

Emotions are only temporary. I won't stop until the job is done. I have to keep going on. Nobody is going to move these legs of mine except for me.

At the age of 22, Lwis is now one of the most formidable knights of Ishgard, even having to play dirty in order to rise up the ranks. With these kinds of power, he is able to gather more opportunities for business. Barely any time to himself, Lwis is always on expeditions and hunts. If not, he would hole up in his room finishing up more papers. Nothing else really caught his interest if it does not concern his work or reputation.

"Ever considered doing ANYTHING besides work? I think you'll see a whoooole other side of the world than just a dark cold room."

Every day has always been the same monotonous cycle. Until recently. An urgent mission he has to take together with his new partner, Nia D'estelles, that requires him to be away from home for a long while. Little did he know this was only just the beginning of his chapter.

Finally! Fresh air. Aren't you sick of sitting down all day?

Occupation: Adjunct Teacher
Appearance: 207cm. Grey eyes. Slightly tanned. Natural black hair with tips dyed ash purple. Eyepatch covering left eye. Fit.

Smoking, Comfortable clothing, Karakuls ffs X Being dependant on others

About: This clumsy little Au ra loves to nap curled up in his fleece blanket by the fireplace after a long day at work. He usually doesn't open his mouth, but if he does, it's probably something stupid, and you will see him do something stupid afterward. Aster usually bites more than he could chew, constantly causing him to suffer from burnout. He also has the tendency to find the easy way out if stuck on something. Aster's a pretty nice guy, he doesn't mind helping people out.

History
Sounds of panting and footsteps. Your heart is beating fast. You don't know whether to cry out of frustration or jump off a cliff. You've been running further away from a destroyed tribe that was once your homeplace. "Stay close with me, Aster. We shouldn't stay apart. Here, get on this small trader's boat. Don't make a noise." After hours of listening to waves and chatter, you've finally arrived in Ul'dah.

Aster and his brother, Eden, have been on the run. Barely scraping by on the dusty streets of Ul'dah. Aster chose to stay away from his brother and do whatever he wanted. Which was stealing crops or picking fallen coins off the ground. He learned how to swing his sword by watching other paladins do their training at the outskirts of the city. With whatever knowledge and skills he has, Aster managed to get a job as a teacher in a small training school. Eventually saving enough to buy an apartment.

How much longer can I keep this up?

During a stormy evening, he came across a stranded, lonely, white-haired Hyur huddling in the alleys of Ul'dah. Something within him compelled him to take care of him and bring him back home. After all, this poor Hyur was only a teenager, and even though Aster didn't have much on him. Both of them were happy, it doesn't matter as long they had a roof over their heads. They stayed together for a couple of years, and the Hyur, who was known to be Seth, saw Aster as his older brother. However, an unfortunate incident happened, and it caused Aster to lose half of his sight, and Seth ran away from home.

His voice, it kept ringing inside of my head. Protect... Protect who...? I knew he didn't mean it. I'm sure of it.

It took a couple of months for Aster to recover, finally returning back to work. He now adorns an eyepatch that covers the left eye. Due to his long absence from his former class, he was transferred to a new one, this time with more... odd students. To top it off, a new staff had joined the same time he came back. Despite it feeling too strange and coincidental, Aster shrugged it off and resumed life as per normal. His apartment felt empty again, even when he and Seth stayed together just for a couple of years.

Astrology, Alcohol, Spying on people, His... sister? ffs X Plain fuckin' water, Entering through the door like a normal person

About: The 'H' in his name meant High, Hobo, Hydrophobic and Homophobic. This alcoholic fat dog is usually seen wandering alone, using two empty beer bottles as makeshift binoculars, peeking into a particular house glass windows. Prefers to talk like a drunkard, even though it seemed like alcohol has no effect on him anymore, always talking in cryptic messages like: "This is not going according to the plot." , "You're supposed to be dead?", "I don't remember seeing you 283610432 blinks ago.". I called him fat but he's not really that fat, it's just his stomach full of alcohol and a lot of bullshit brewing in there. Always claims that he cares for his sister despite teabagging on her after a certain incident, then crashing into the windows to make his escape. I don't know this guy.

History
It was hard to grasp the concept of time anymore. One moment, you'd see himself sitting at home, singing along with your parents, blink again, you saw himself all alone. In the next one, you're standing in front of a massive mansion. Maybe hanging out with your friends right now. Blink again, there are bodies around you. Dead. Familiar faces on the ground. Stone cold. Someone looks up to you, handing you some sort of charm, or a key. "I entrust you with the library's knowledge. Use it well..."
What a weird dream, or was it real all along?

Hyth was just an ordinary Hyur, living an ordinary life in the eastern part of Coerthas, with his mother and poking insects with his childhood friend, Seth. Of course, such peace doesn't last forever when the Red Moon slowly grew in size, and eventually took away his village, childhood, and his own mother.

After the Calamity, he was pretty much all alone, living in shelters and trying to make the best of his situation, until a Lalafell by the name of Feis Istheis extended his hand at Hyth to work as a butler. There's really not much option, is it? He's not passing up an opportunity to earn a stable income and be independent.

I don't think I can properly recall this memory as vividly as I used to, heh.

Hyth pretty much spent most of his years at House Istheis, until he ran into someone... Who looks like him? He was running errands in Ul'dah when he bumped into his 'lookalike', which turned out that they were half-siblings. Motivated by the fact that he wasn't alone and had another family member by his side, he had some form of purpose to live for once again.

I think that's when things gets dicey. The turning point in this entire play. I just wanted us to be happy.

Peace was disrupted once again when he found his half-sister was knocked unconscious one day. By none other by the clown himself, Rae Ackerman. Without giving the other party a chance to explain, Hyth left the place out of anger, fear, anything that's negative. Nothing could ever go right for him. He never came back until a couple of years later. Eventually learning that she didn't have much to live soon, he regretted wasting his time... and looking down at the key he had the whole time. What else could he learn from the repository of knowledge?

...In no way, this is means to justify my actions. I don't have any remorse for it anyways. You get to live, while I go in a cycle of torment.
